[A] teacher led community dedicated to cultivating greater understanding, compassion, and wisdom, through the teachings of the Buddha. We practice in the tradition of Insight Meditation or Vipassana, which teaches methods for opening the heart and mind, and seeing more clearly into the true nature of our interconnected existence. We welcome practitioners from diverse spiritual and secular traditions. It is not necessary to become a “Buddhist” to participate in our community, and our tradition emphasizes our shared potential for Awakening, rather than following a fixed system of beliefs.
